Farmworker Coordinating Council of Palm Beach County, Inc.

Sergio Palacio has served as executive director of the Farmworker Coordinating Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. since February 1, 2011. However, his involvement with the agency dates back to 2001 when he volunteered for the agency. In 2002, he joined the board of directors and in 2004 was elected board president. He served in this capacity until 2011 when he was selected as executive director. Prior to his retirement from the State of Florida in 2006, Mr. Palacio was the director of business & financial auxiliary services at Florida Atlantic University for 15 years. In that capacity, he was the executive in charge of all the revenue-generating enterprises of the university. Mr. Palacio attended the University of Salamanca (Spain) and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
