CARP provides a supervised, stable, home-like environment for homeless and/or indigent men and women afflicted with substance use disorder. CARP residences employ an abstinence-based 12-step recovery model proven to be effective against addiction. The Path to College is a nonprofit program that mentors low-income, high-achieving kids to help them be more competitive, get better scholarships, and incur less debt when applying to college. The fellowship is a three-year program that, aside from tutoring and mentoring, will offer scholarships, and organize avenues for volunteer work in the community.
