Bella's Angels
- Bella’s Angels provides financial assistance for local children with life-long physical disabilities to fill the gap for middle class families who make too much money to qualify for government assistance, yet they don’t have the financial means to obtain all of the necessary medical care for their child.
Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope
Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope, Inc. is a Palm Beach County not-for-profit organization that eases the burden of qualified local cancer patients by paying a portion of their non-medical bills, supplementing basic needs, and providing support and information resources
CARP
CARP provides a supervised, stable, home-like environment for homeless and/or indigent men and women afflicted with substance use disorder. CARP residences employ an abstinence-based 12-step recovery model proven to be effective against addiction. Our goal is to break the cycle of hopeless addiction, dependency and resulting homelessness among Palm Beach County’s economically vulnerable residents.s
The Children’s Bereavement Center offers free grief support groups to children, teens, and adults across South Florida who experienced the loss of a loved one as well as provides grief-informed training to anyone on the front lines of grief.
Community Health Center of West Palm Beach
The Community Health Center of West Palm Beach provides non-emergency medical and vision care to those who do not have access to healthcare services. We assist them in establishing a continuum of care through the conventional healthcare system to promote a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Fern House
Since 1983, Fern House has been taking homeless and indigent substance abusers off our streets, helping them stop the drugs and alcohol, and guiding them to a life of purpose. Our 56-bed facility in West Palm Beach operates a six-month program to help these men develop a new, healthier lifestyle. We also have a 32-bed facility in Lake Worth for those who need extra time and care.
For The Children Inc.
We are a certified childcare provider and certified health educator.
Our culturally sensitive programs and services appeal to the creative, academic, emotional and social minds of our children. They are designed to validate and empower students to succeed. Services like our English-language skill development for preschool children are critical for entry into kindergarten.
HealthyMe
HealthyMe is a nonprofit health and social services care coordination and navigation hub that connects individuals with limited resources to medical, urgent dental, and ancillary services. Each client is assessed to determine individual needs and eligibility for resources such as healthy food and nutrition education, rent and utilities assistance, transportation for health-related appointments, benefits and legal assistance among others.
Leeds Foundation
Leeds Endowment purchases medical and adaptive equipment often not covered by insurance, funds service dogs, and covers the costs of participating in social activities and adaptive sports programs to help people with disabilities in Palm Beach County become more active in the community.
Morning Day Community Solutions
Founded in 2010, Morningday Community Solutions connects South Florida charities with new and like-new household goods, hygiene products, mattresses, furniture, and more for a fraction of the retail price. By connecting these products with people who need them most, we make a dramatic impact in reducing waste and enable charities to spend more money on critical programs and services.
Path To College
The Path to College is a nonprofit program that mentors low-income, high-achieving kids to help them be more competitive, get better scholarships, and incur less debt when applying to college. The fellowship is a three-year program that, aside from tutoring and mentoring, will offer scholarships, and organize avenues for volunteer work in the community.
Pine Ridge Holistic Living Center
Pine Ridge provides programs and services that will improve quality of life and support a healthy holistic lifestyle. It is also designated as a Community Housing Development Corporation and is responsible for finding funding opportunities for housing-related development.
We work to educate clients, health care providers, and the community about sickle cell disease and black infant mortality.
Speak Up For Kids
Speak Up For Kids’ goal is to advocate for every abused, abandoned, or neglected child in Palm Beach County by championing the Guardian ad Litem program which engages volunteers who advocate for the physical educational and emotional best interests of our kids, ultimately, breaking the cycle of abuse violence crime and neglect one child at a time.
West Jupiter Community Group
The tutorial center is a provider of after school, spring break and summer camp services for children in grades K-8. Our objective is to provide educational support, increase grade point average and self-esteem. We strive to help students develop interests, skill and knowledge in a variety of areas all within a safe, warm and nurturing environment.
